How it works

Pick one, adjust it, place it.

1. Choose a widget

A live counter, a referral leaderboard, a milestone bar, a launch countdown or your latest updates. Each one opens already showing your numbers.

2. Make it yours

Write the words around the number, choose which pieces show, and set an accent, a background and a font. It starts from your Brand Kit.

3. Place it

Paste the two-line snippet into your own site, add the Widget block to your status page, or fetch the same data as JSON. Your Launch page has its own blocks for the same numbers.

The leaderboard

A race people can see themselves in.

The leaderboard is the widget that gets people sharing. These settings keep it fair and worth climbing.

When bonus tasks make points differ from referrals, the board ranks by points and shows them, so nobody wonders why a smaller number is ahead.

Only a first name shows

Each person appears by the first name your form asked for, over a masked email. Turn both off and the board shows ranks and scores alone.

One loader for everything

Every widget and signup form on a page runs from the same script. It loads without holding up your page, and a second copy by mistake does no harm.

Sealed off from your stylesheet

Each widget draws inside its own shadow root. Your CSS cannot reach in, and nothing inside can restyle the page around it.

Transparent until you say so

A widget has no background of its own by default, so it sits on a light or a dark site without looking pasted on.

Change it once

Edit a widget in LaunchList and every copy of it, on every site, shows the change. There is no code to paste again.

Different words on different sites

Set the label, heading or goal in the snippet itself, so the same counter can read one way on your homepage and another on your blog.

Count any part of your list

Your whole list, or one stage, country or signup channel. A slice shows no number until it reaches 10 people, so nobody can be picked out.

Before you paste the snippet.

How do I add a signup counter to my website?
Open Embed & API, go to Your website, and select Get code on the Live counter. Copy the snippet and paste it where the counter should appear, using the custom code or HTML block your site builder has. It works on Webflow, Framer, WordPress, Squarespace, Carrd, Shopify and plain HTML.
Should I show a counter while my list is small?
Usually not. A counter shows whatever the total is, and "7 people have joined" works against you. Start with a milestone bar, which shows a small number as progress toward a goal, and add the counter once the total helps.
How current is the number a visitor sees?
Each widget reads your list when the page loads, so a visitor sees the total as of that moment. The countdown is the one that moves while they watch, ticking down to your launch date.
Can I draw the numbers my own way?
Yes. Every saved widget has a JSON address that needs no API key and answers requests from any site, so your own app or a headless build can fetch the data and render it in its own design.
Are widgets included on the Free plan?
Yes, every widget in every place, with no limit on how many sites you put them on.
