App waitlist landing page template: Stride in the Aurora style

Aurora. Light and luminous: a soft glow of the accent color behind the headline and the closing section, glass cards with hairline edges and gradient emphasis. Suits AI products and consumer apps.

Stride is a made-up product, so its numbers and quotes are examples. Your page is written about your product, and a section that needs facts only you have, like a price or a customer quote, is left out until you add it.

Who it is for

Who this pre-launch landing page is for

  • An app that is not in the stores yet

Collect the people who want it while the build is in review or in testing, so you know who to tell on release day.

  • A beta that takes testers in rounds

Stride's page says new testers join every week. Keep that promise or change it, and invite people from your list when a round opens.

  • A product easier to show than to describe

One screen on a phone carries the first impression, and four short benefits under it say the rest.

Make it yours

What to change first

  • The phone screen

The phone shows a drawn stand-in. Add a screenshot of your own app as the hero's Product image, and keep Phone as the way it is shown.

  • The release line

The badge above the headline says when Stride arrives and on which phones. Put your own date and platforms there, or remove the badge if you have no date yet.

  • The numbers and the testers

The session count, the 4.8 rating and the three people quoted are made up. Replace them with figures and words from your own testers, or delete both blocks until you have some.

Customize

Change anything on the page

The template is where you start. Beyond its 8 styles, the editor lets you change how every part of the page looks and reads.

  • Your color, fonts and corners

Set the accent color, the fonts and the corners once, and every section follows.
  • A few layouts for most blocks

Most blocks come in finished layouts, so a section can change shape and keep its words.
  • Move, duplicate or remove

Drag a section to a new place, duplicate it or delete it. Add a block puts a new one where you want it.
  • Ask for a change

Say what you want changed in a sentence and the page is edited for you, with an Undo on every change.
  • Preview, then publish

Check the draft at desktop and phone width. Sections and words go live only when you publish; your logo and share preview change at once.
  • Your logo and share preview

Add your logo, and set the title, description and share image a pasted link shows.
Questions

Questions about the Stride template

Can testers sign up with a phone number instead of an email?
Yes. A form can use an email, a phone number or a username as the identity, and signups are deduplicated on whichever you choose. The page shows a form from your project, so changing the form changes what the page asks for.
Can the page link to the App Store, Google Play or a test build?
Yes. The hero can carry a second button that links to any web address, so the form collects testers while the button opens a test build. After release, take the form off the hero and put a link button to your store listing in its place.
How do I check the page on a phone?
The editor previews every draft at desktop and phone width. Visitors get the same blocks you edit, so the preview is the page. You can also send a private preview link of the draft to your own phone before you publish.
Is it free to put an app page live?
You can publish it and collect testers without paying. The page editor is on the Free plan, with no credit card needed. The Free plan holds your first 100 contacts. Signups past that are still saved, and are kept hidden until you move up a size. Your own domain comes with the Collect, Launch and Grow plans.
Can Stride be the waiting list page for an app that is still in review?
Yes. Publish it while the build is in review or in testing, and the people who want the app join your waiting list from the form, so you know who to tell on release day.
