A custom domain
for your waitlist page.
LaunchList custom domains put your Launch page on an address you own, like join.yourproduct.com, with one DNS record. The SSL certificate is issued for you, and there is no server to run.

- Domains per plan
- 1 custom domain on the Collect plan, 3 custom domains on the Launch plan and unlimited custom domains on the Grow plan, counted across your workspace
- Four states

- Your old address
- Your launchlist.page address keeps serving the same page, and tells search engines your domain is the main one
- Search engines
- Allowed on your live domain from the start, and one switch keeps the page out of search
From your DNS provider to a padlock in the address bar.
Type the address
In Embed & API, on the "Hosted page" tab, press "Set up" beside "Custom domain". Enter the address you want, like join.yourproduct.com, and press "Connect".Copy one record
The card lays the record out the way your DNS provider asks for it: type, name and value. Tap a field to copy it, then paste it at your provider.Let LaunchList secure it
Once the record resolves, LaunchList issues the SSL certificate and serves the page over HTTPS. There is nothing to buy, install or upload, and the card turns "Live" on its own.
Own domain not live yet? The card says why.
A slow DNS change and a wrong one look the same from outside. The card tells them apart and says what to change.
Three steps, one flagged
"Domain added", "DNS pointed at us", "Certificate issued": the rail marks the step it is on, so you know whether to act or wait.
Names the wrong value
If your record points somewhere else, the card says so and names the exact value it needs. If Cloudflare proxies the record, it tells you to switch it to DNS only.
Keeps checking after you leave
With the card open it checks every ten seconds for the first five minutes. Close the tab and checking carries on in the background.
Check again when it is fixed
A record that never arrives is marked "Not working" and checking stops. Correct it at your DNS provider and press "Try again".
Who should put their waitlist page on their own domain.
A good fit when
- You already own the domain your product will live on, and want early signups to see it from their first visit.
- Your signups post their referral links in public, and you want each link to carry your name, not ours.
- You will share the page in a launch post or a newsletter, where people read the address before they click.
Not the right fit when
- You want the signup form on a page of the site you already have. Embed the form there instead.
- You need your updates feed on your domain too. The updates page is served from your launchlist.page address only.
Your domain, not ours, in the links you hand out.
Once it is live, LaunchList moves the links it hands out over to it.
Referral links
The link every signup shares points at your domain, so each share carries your name.Status pages
Each signup's status page, showing where they stand in line, opens on your domain too.Links in your emails
Confirmation and unsubscribe links in the emails LaunchList sends for you use your domain instead of ours.Share button and API
The Share button in your dashboard and the page address the API returns both switch to your domain.Only your signups
Your domain serves your own project and nothing else. Status pages for other projects never answer on it.Paused, never deleted
If your plan stops covering a domain, visitors go to your launchlist.page address while the record and certificate stay in place for later.
