Ferry: developer tool waitlist landing page template in the Blueprint style

Blueprint. Technical and exact: a cool white page on a faint grid, square corners and dashed rules. Suits developer tools, APIs and infrastructure.

Ferry is a made-up product, so its numbers and quotes are examples. Your page is written about your product, and a section that needs facts only you have, like a price or a customer quote, is left out until you add it.

On the page

What is on this waitlist landing page

10 sections, top to bottom. The headline beside a terminal, then a quickstart, a changelog and a pricing table. Every section can be edited, moved or removed in the editor.

  1. Navigation

Your name, links and a button at the top.

  2. Hero

"Put your app online with one command."

The headline, a line of support and the signup form.

  3. Benefits

"Everything between your laptop and a live app"

Reasons to sign up, as cards, columns or rows.

  4. Steps

"From your laptop to a live address"

How it works, in order, as columns or a timeline.

  5. Numbers

A few numbers that make the case.

  6. Updates

    "Changelog"

Your latest published updates, with a link to all of them.

  7. Pricing

    "Free for side projects"

Your plans side by side, with one marked as the pick.

  8. Questions

    "Before you deploy anything"

Answers to the questions people ask first.

  9. Call to action

    "Stop setting up servers"

A closing headline with the signup form.

  10. Footer

Small print and links, at the bottom of the page.

Add blocks

9 more blocks you can add

Ferry is a starting set, and the page is yours to build on. Add any of these from the editor's Add block list, wherever you want it on the page.

  • Logos

A row of customer or partner names.

  • Quotes

    What people say about it.

  • Story

A few paragraphs, or a signed note from you.

  • Media

One image, a video, or a gallery of screenshots.

  • Countdown

The days, hours and minutes left until your launch date.

  • Signup form

Your signup form on its own, anywhere on the page.

  • Signup count

How many people have signed up, counted live.

  • Leaderboard

The people who referred the most signups.

  • Referral rewards

What people earn for referring friends.

Who it is for

Who this pre-launch landing page is for

  • A command-line tool or SDK

The quickstart is three numbered steps, enough for install, run and result.

  • An API in private beta

Developers join the list from the page, or your own code adds them through the LaunchList API.

  • A project that ships in public

The changelog section shows your latest updates, so a visitor can see the project is moving.

Make it yours

What to change first

  1. The command

Ferry's whole pitch is one command, named in the headline and in the first feature. Lead with the line a developer would type to use yours.

  2. The numbers

Ferry's beta has not opened, so its four numbers are promises about the product, such as one command and no configuration files, and not results. Do the same until you have results worth quoting.

  3. The pricing table

Three plans in rows, with a free one first. Put in your own, or delete the block if pricing is not decided.

Customize

Change anything on the page

The template is where you start. Beyond its 8 styles, the editor lets you change how every part of the page looks and reads.

Your color, fonts and corners

Set the accent color, the fonts and the corners once, and every section follows.

A few layouts for every block

Each block comes in finished layouts, so a section can change shape and keep its words.

Move, duplicate or remove

Drag a section to a new place, duplicate it or delete it. Add block puts a new one where you want it.

Ask for a change

Say what you want changed in a sentence and the page is edited for you, with an Undo on every change.

Preview, then publish

Check the draft at desktop and phone width. The live page changes only when you publish.

Your logo and share preview

Add your logo, and set the title, description and share image a pasted link shows.

Questions

Questions about the Ferry template

Can developers join the list from my own site or docs instead?
Yes. Embed the signup form on a site you already have, or add people from your own code with the REST API. They land on the same list as signups from this page, and a webhook can tell your backend when someone joins.
Can my coding agent set this page up?
Yes. LaunchList has an MCP server, and an agent connected to it can create a page from this starting page with words about your product. Every page an agent creates or edits stays a draft until you publish it in the editor yourself.
Where do the changelog entries come from?
From your updates. Write and publish a short post in LaunchList and the changelog section shows your latest ones, up to six. The same posts have a feed at your launchlist.page address followed by /updates, with RSS. Until you publish one, the section stays off the public page.
Can the page live on my own domain?
Yes. Connect a domain you already own, such as a subdomain like join.yourproduct.com, and the SSL certificate is issued for you. Custom domains come with the Collect, Launch and Grow plans. Your launchlist.page address goes on serving the same page, so links you shared earlier still land.
Can I run the waiting list for a private API beta from this page?
Yes. Developers join the waiting list from the form, and you invite people from it when you open access. Each invited person gets an email that links to their status page, where their access code waits.
