# Add a waitlist to Webflow with LaunchList

Connect your Webflow site to LaunchList once. Then select a section, paste your form ID and click Add to page, and your form appears on the published site exactly as designed in LaunchList. Already built a Webflow form? Select it and send its signups to LaunchList instead. Each signup gets a referral link and a place in line. Coming soon to the Webflow Apps marketplace.

How it connects: Webflow app or Webflow form. Canonical page: https://getlaunchlist.com/plugins/webflow. Updated 2026-10-17.

## Set it up

1. **Connect your site.** In LaunchList, open **Embed & API**, then **Your website**, and click **Connect Webflow**. Select your site on Webflow's screen and click **Authorize App**.
2. **Open it in the Designer.** Open your site in the Webflow Designer, press **E** and open **LaunchList**.
3. **Add your form.** Select a section on the page, choose **Add LaunchList**, then **Form**, paste your form ID from **Embed & API** in LaunchList and click **Add to page**.
4. **Publish and sign up once.** Publish the site and join with your own email to see the signup arrive in LaunchList.

## Two ways to use LaunchList on Webflow

- **Add LaunchList.** Recommended. Select a section and add your form, a widget or your updates.
LaunchList draws it, so it matches your launch page and shows a person their place in line right
  after they join.
- **Use my Webflow form.** You design the form in Webflow. Best when you have already built it.

Whichever you pick, a signup runs the same steps in LaunchList: the duplicate check, the spam checks,
the confirmation email if your form asks for one, referral credit and every webhook you set up.

## Connecting your site

Connecting happens once per site, from **Connect Webflow** under **Embed & API**, then **Your
website**, in LaunchList, or from the app's **Connect this site** button. LaunchList adds one small script to every page through Webflow's own custom code, which you
can see in your site settings. Publish the site for it to go live. To take it off, disconnect the
site in LaunchList under **Embed & API**, then **Your website**, and republish.

## Add LaunchList

Choose **Form**, **Widget** or **Updates**, paste the form ID from **Embed & API** in LaunchList, or
for Widget and Updates your project's public name, and click **Add to page**. The app places it
inside the section you selected, or right after the element you selected. It carries a class named
**LaunchList**, set to full width, which you can restyle like any Webflow class.

It shows LaunchList's own embed, so there are no style settings in Webflow to keep in sync. What
happens after someone signs up is set on the form in LaunchList: your status page, a page on your
site, or a message with their place in line and referral link.

## Use my Webflow form

Select your Form Block, choose **Use my Webflow form**, paste your LaunchList form ID and click
**Send this form to LaunchList**, then publish. Name the email input **Email** so LaunchList knows
which field is the address; other inputs are kept with the signup.

Webflow still shows its own success message and keeps its own copy of each submission, and your
plan's Webflow form limits still apply. Only forms you sent to LaunchList reach it.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I add a waitlist to Webflow?

Yes. Connect your site from LaunchList, open the app in the Designer, select a section and click Add to page with your form ID. The form looks exactly as designed in LaunchList, multi-step forms included, and what happens after a signup is set on the form in LaunchList.

### Can I keep my own Webflow form?

Yes. Select your Form Block, open the app, choose Use my Webflow form, paste your LaunchList form ID and click Send this form to LaunchList. Name the email input Email. Webflow relays each submission to LaunchList, signed, and other forms on your site are left alone.

### Do referrals work on a Webflow site?

Yes, both ways. The app adds the LaunchList script to every page when you connect your site, and it remembers a referral code for 90 days, so a visitor who arrives on one page and signs up on another still credits the person who shared the link.

### Why is the form not on the Webflow canvas?

The Designer does not run site scripts, so the spot stays empty while you design. Publish the site, or use Webflow's preview, to see the form.

### Can I show more than the form?

Yes. In the app, choose Widget for a signup counter, leaderboard, milestone or countdown, or Updates to show your published updates. For these, enter your project's public name instead of a form ID.

### Can my own Webflow form show the person their place in line?

No. Webflow sends the signup on and shows its own success message. Use Add LaunchList if you want the place in line and referral link shown on the page.

### How do I remove LaunchList from my site?

In LaunchList, open Embed & API, then Your website, and click Disconnect beside the site. LaunchList takes its script and form connection off the site, and your signups stay in LaunchList. Republish the site to finish.
