Styles

Every template comes in eight styles

A style changes the colors, fonts and corners of the whole page at once, and your words and sections stay as they are. Try all eight on Relay, the SaaS waitlist landing page template.

Studio. Bright and product-led: a warm white page, quiet gray bands and one dark band.

Customize

Change anything on the page

A style is the start. The editor lets you change how every part of a waitlist landing page looks and reads.

Your color, fonts and corners

Set the accent color, the fonts and the corners once, and every section follows.

A few layouts for every block

Each block comes in finished layouts, so a section can change shape and keep its words.

Move, duplicate or remove

Drag a section to a new place, duplicate it or delete it. Add block puts a new one where you want it.

Ask for a change

Say what you want changed in a sentence and the page is edited for you, with an Undo on every change.

Preview, then publish

Check the draft at desktop and phone width. The live page changes only when you publish.

Your logo and share preview

Add your logo, and set the title, description and share image a pasted link shows.

How it works

How to make a pre-launch waitlist page from a template

  1. Pick the closest template

Open a template, scroll through it and try it in each style. Choose by what you are launching: the look can change later and your words stay.

  2. Say what you are building

Give your product a name and one line about it. The starting pages are then written about your product, in place of the made-up one in the template.

  3. Publish and share one link

Add your color and your logo, then publish. The page is hosted for you on a LaunchList address, and your own domain comes with the Collect, Launch and Grow plans. Every signup joins your waiting list.

Questions

Waitlist landing page template questions

What is a waitlist landing page template?
A waitlist landing page template is a ready-made pre-launch page for a product that has not launched yet: a headline, the reasons to care and a signup form. You swap the sample words and pictures for your own and publish it. Each of the nine here is made for one kind of launch, such as a SaaS beta, a mobile app, a pre-order or a newsletter.
What should a waitlist landing page include?
A headline that says what the product is, one line on who it is for, a picture of the product and a signup form near the top. After that, add what helps a visitor decide: the benefits, how it works, proof you already have and answers to common questions. The templates here differ in which of those they lead with, and the coming soon page keeps to one screen.
Is a waitlist page the same as a pre-launch or coming soon page?
They do one job under different names. A waitlist landing page, a waiting list page, a pre-launch landing page, an early access page and a coming soon page all say what is on its way and collect the people who want it. A coming soon page is usually one screen, and a pre-launch or early access page says more about the product. The templates here cover both.
Are the templates free to use?
Yes. The page editor and every template are on the Free plan, with no credit card needed. Referral rewards, which the referral template shows, come with the Collect, Launch and Grow plans.
Can I change a template after I pick it?
Yes. Every section can be edited, moved or removed, and you can add blocks such as a countdown, a live signup count, a leaderboard or your latest updates. The style, the accent color, the fonts and the corners are set once for the whole page.
Do I have to write the page myself?
No. When you start, you give your product a name and one line about it, and the starting pages are written about your product from that. In the editor you can also ask for one change at a time. A customer name, a quote, a number or a price is used only when you gave it.
Can I use a template on my own domain?
Yes. Your own domain comes with the Collect, Launch and Grow plans. On the Free plan the page lives on a LaunchList address.
Do I need my own website?
No. The page is hosted for you, so it can be your whole web presence until launch. If you already have a site, embed the signup form there instead, or use both.
What happens after someone signs up?
They join your list, and each signup gets a private status page that shows their place and a personal referral link to share.
What is the difference between a template and a style?
A template is the page: its sections, their order and the words it starts with. A style is how that page looks: its colors, fonts and corners. Any of the nine templates can be shown in any of the eight styles, and you can change the style at any time without touching the words.
