Waitlist software for crypto and Web3 launches

LaunchList runs a plain waitlist for a token or crypto app launch. Add a wallet address field beside the email, keep bots off the list, and leave anything on chain to your own tools.

Coming soon waitlist page template: One screen in the Studio style

Studio. Bright and product-led: a warm white page, quiet gray bands and one dark band.

The one-screen page has no sample company: your logo, your name and one line sit around the form. Put a "Wallet address" question on that form in the form builder.

What it is
A waitlist for a token or a crypto app before it opens: one page, one form, and a list you can email and export.
Starting page
The one-screen page, centered on a single screen with nothing else to scroll.
Works with
Wallets by address only: LaunchList connects to no chain and no wallet. Its "Wallet address" field accepts any chain by default, or only Ethereum or Solana addresses once you set its "Address format".
Not a sale
LaunchList takes no payments and sells nothing: no tokens, no presale, no allocation.
Price
Free up to 100 contacts, with the wallet field and CSV export included.
How launches work

How a crypto launch list works, and what stays on chain.

A list of emails and wallets comes first. Proving a wallet is someone's, and anything a contract does with it, comes later and happens elsewhere.

  • Allowlists

A list of wallet addresses allowed to mint or buy before everyone else, chosen by the project. OpenSea describes it for NFTs, and token launches use the same idea.

Source: OpenSea Learn, August 17, 2023

    Use it when

A mint or a sale has limited places and you decide in advance which wallets get one.

  • Allowlist platforms

Tools such as PREMINT build allowlists from connected wallets, with raffles, wallet verification and entry rules like a Discord role or a token held.

    Use it when

Every entry has to be a connected wallet and your community gathers on Discord and X.

  • Wallet signatures

Sign-In with Ethereum, ERC-4361, has a wallet sign a standard message to log in to an off-chain service. It is how you know the address is the person's, which a typed address cannot tell you.

    Use it when

A wallet must belong to the person before it gets a place, an allocation or an airdrop.

Where LaunchList fits

The waitlist comes first, while all you need is emails and wallets; an allowlist tool and a signature check come in once places are limited or something of value goes out.

When to use it

A crypto waitlist for the list, not for the token sale.

A good fit when

  • You need emails as well as wallets, so you can reach people when the app or the token goes live.
  • Your app or testnet opens in batches, and you want an order to let people in.
  • You want a list you can export to your own allowlist tooling.

Not the right fit when

  • You want to sell tokens, run a presale or promise returns: LaunchList takes no payments, and promoting a token is regulated in places like the UK.
  • You need proof that each wallet belongs to the person: ask for a wallet signature in your own app.
  • You need allowlist writes on chain: LaunchList does nothing on chain.
Set it up

A crypto launch list with a wallet field, set up in an afternoon.

  1. Add a wallet address field

In the form builder, place a "Wallet address" question under the email. Each answer is saved with the signup and travels with it into exports and webhooks. On every plan
  2. Keep bots off the list

Add your own Cloudflare Turnstile, reCAPTCHA or hCaptcha keys under "Privacy & spam". Every signup is scored, and referral credit waits for a confirmed email. On every plan
  3. Export the list

Export Signups as a CSV file with the email, the wallet address and the referral count, and load it into your allowlist or airdrop tool.On every plan

Real launches

Two crypto waitlists, and what each one shows.

  • Robinhood Crypto

    2018, trading

    What they did

More than 1 million people joined the waitlist for Robinhood Crypto in four days, CNBC reported.

    Take from it

A crypto feature from a product people already use can fill a list fast, so decide before you open it how many you can let in each week.

  • Robinhood Wallet

    2021, self-custody wallet

    What they did

An alpha for a small group from the waitlist, then a beta announced for thousands more from it, after 1 million waitlist signups in under 30 days and more than 1.6 million in all.

    Take from it

Let a small group in first, then widen by batch. One-use invite codes keep each place for the person it was sent to.

  • A place in line

Each person who joins can check their position on a status page, and pass on a referral link if you use referrals. On every plan
  • One-use invite codes

FAQ

Wallets, bots and token sales.

Can LaunchList capture wallet addresses along with emails?
Yes. Put a "Wallet address" question on the signup form beside the email. By default it takes any chain's address or an ENS name; set its "Address format" to Ethereum or Solana and it accepts only a well-formed address for that chain. It never proves who owns the wallet. Both come out together in the CSV export.
How do I stop sybil farms from gaming my crypto waitlist?
LaunchList scores every signup, limits signups per device and per IP address, and gives referral credit only after the friend confirms their email, up to three credited referrals per IP address. Add your own CAPTCHA keys for a launch that will draw bots. None of that proves a person has one wallet, so for anything of value, check a signed message from the wallet in your app.
How do I automate wallet whitelisting on-chain?
LaunchList does nothing on chain. A signed webhook sends each signup, or each person you invite, to your backend with their form answers, the wallet address included, and your own code decides what goes on chain.
Can I sell tokens or take a presale on a LaunchList waitlist?
No. LaunchList takes no payments and is not a place to sell tokens or promise returns. Promoting a token can be regulated where your signups live: in the UK, crypto promotions need a cooling-off period for first-time investors and may not offer refer-a-friend bonuses. Keep the page to what the project is and when it opens.
What does a crypto waitlist cost?
Up to 100 contacts, nothing: the Free plan already has the wallet field, spam protection and CSV export. Past that, plans are priced by list size and billed monthly or yearly.
