Manage your team

Bring your team members to join you in managing your waitlist. LaunchList allows you to add unlimited team members on Grow plans. Each team member will have their own login credentials to access the dashboard. You can also set permissions for each team member to control what they can access. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to add team members, set permissions, and remove team members.

Add team members

To add a team member -

  1. Go to the Settings page
  2. Scroll down to find the Team section
  3. Click on Add Team Member button
  4. In the popup that appears, enter the email address of the team member you want to add.
  5. Choose the restrictions for the team member
  6. Click on the "Add Member" button to send the invitation.

After adding the team member, they will receive an email with a link to sign up. If they already have a LaunchList account, they will be prompted to accept the invitation. Once they sign up, they will be able to view and manage waitlist projects in their dashboard.

You can also view the invitation link by clicking on the Edit button of the team member.

Remove team members

To remove a team member, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Team section on the Settings page
  2. Click on the Edit button of the team member you want to remove
  3. Click on the Remove button

Restrictions

Each team member will have their own login credentials to access the dashboard. As the owner of the waitlist, you can set permissions for each team member to control what they can access.

By default, each team member is assigned full access to the waitlist pages and settings. However, you can restrict their access to certain features based on their role. Here are some examples of restrictions you can choose:

  1. Prevent exporting submissions - If enabled, the team member will not be able to export the submissions.
  2. Prevent adding, editing, or deleting users from the waitlist - If enabled, the team member will not be able to add, edit, or delete users from the waitlist.
  3. Prevent accessing the submissions page and analytics - If enabled, the team member will not be able to access the submissions page and analytics.
  4. Prevent accessing the waitlist settings page - If enabled, the team member will not be able to access the settings page.
  5. Prevent accessing the plugin settings page - If enabled, the team member will not be able to access the plugin settings page.
  6. Prevent accessing the integration page - If enabled, the team member will not be able to access the integration page.

Please note that the team members can not Delete or Upgrade the waitlist. Only the owner of the waitlist can do that.

Which restrictions to choose based on the team member role?

You can choose the restrictions based on the role of the team member. For example, if you want to add a team member who will only be able to view the submissions, you can enable the "Prevent adding, editing, or deleting users from the waitlist" and "Prevent accessing the waitlist settings page" restrictions. This will allow the team member to only view the submissions and nothing else.

Here are some examples of role-based restrictions:

  1. Manager - The manager will have full access to the waitlist by default. They will not be able to delete or upgrade the waitlist.
  2. Developer - You can enable the Prevent accessing the waitlist settings page restriction for the developer. This will allow the developer to only access the submissions page, integrations page, and plugins page.
  3. Viewer - You can enable all the restrictions except the Prevent accessing the submissions page and analytics restriction for the viewer. This will allow the viewer to only access the submissions page and analytics page.

These are just suggestions. You can choose the restrictions based on your requirements.

Can I add unlimited team members?
Yes, you can add unlimited team members on Grow and Scale plans.

I have added a team member but they are not able to access the waitlist. What should I do?
Please make sure that the team member has accepted the invitation. If they have accepted the invitation, please make sure that they are logged in to the correct account. If they are still not able to access the waitlist, please contact our support team.

Can I remove a team member?
Yes, you can remove a team member by clicking on the Remove Member button from edit team member popup.
