About
AppRater is an independent app archive for makers and readers who want to discover small software, running since 2011. It lists mobile apps, desktop apps, web apps, browser extensions, plugins, APIs, developer tools, and command-line or self-hosted software. To submit, makers fill in a form with the app name, platform, app or store URL, and what makes the product useful, then send it for review. Every submission is reviewed before it appears in the archive. The About page lists the cost to browse or submit as $0. Paid options are listing promotion at $14 USD per month or $35 USD every 3 months, and $5 bids that affect leaderboard order. Custom banner and newsletter sponsorships are available, with prices given on request. Before submitting, note that AppRater is not a store or a launch feed, that shops and brand or agency sites stay out, and that promotion never buys approval.
How to submit
Fill in the app name, platform, app or store URL, what makes it useful, optional tags and image, your name and email, then submit for review.
