About
Product Hunt is a community launch platform where makers share new products such as mobile apps, websites and technology products. Products are submitted, called hunting, and other community members upvote, comment and share them as they compete on the homepage leaderboard for spots including Product of the Day. To submit, log in, click Submit in the top right, click New Product and enter the product's URL. Launching is free and needs a free personal account. Company accounts are prohibited. The guidelines say a product should be new or have substantive updates, be usable, and come from a trustworthy maker; closed beta launches are usually not a good fit. You cannot ask people directly to upvote your product. Paid advertising is separate: self-serve web display campaigns have a budget of $5,000 - $10,000, and managed campaigns start at $10,000.
