About
Tools.so is a curated directory of tools that sorts products into categories such as AI, Design, Development, Productivity and Startup Directory. Its home page lists filter categories including Chatbot, Analytics, NoCode, SEO and Chrome Extension. The home page has a Submit Tool button for adding a product, but the pages reviewed do not say how to submit, whether a listing is free or paid, how long review takes, whether an account is needed, or whether a link is dofollow or nofollow. The pages also do not list paid listing tiers or advertising. A subscribe form is offered for updates. Founders should check the Submit Tool button before sending a product, because these details are not stated on the home page.

Questions
- How do I submit to Tools.so?
- Tools.so has a Submit Tool button on its home page. The pages reviewed do not describe the submission steps.
- What kinds of products does Tools.so list?
- Tools.so lists tools in categories such as AI, Design, Development, Productivity, Chatbot and Chrome Extension.
- What are the best AI directories to submit my tool to?
The best ones are online, still adding tools and give you something for the listing: visitors, a dofollow link or both. Of the 272 AI directories we checked Oct 14 to 30, 2026, 27 showed new listings with dates we could confirm, and 26 are both free and dofollow. The picks above are chosen from those facts alone.
From our AI directories guide.- How many AI directories should I submit to?
Ten to twenty good ones is enough for most AI tools. Past that, most directories are small, and the time goes into places nobody browses. Start with the free and dofollow ones, then add the largest ones even if their links are nofollow, for the visitors.
From our AI directories guide.- Is Product Hunt an AI directory?
No. Product Hunt is a launch board for every kind of product, where a launch is upvoted on one day. AI tools launch there too; see Launch boards for it and the others.
