We checked 2 regional communities from Oct 14 to 30, 2026: 2 were online.

Regional places are launch sites and communities for one country or language, useful when your first users live there.

## At a glance

- Online: 2 of 2 (Answered when we checked)
- New listings, dated: 0 (Showed listings we could date)

## Best picks by goal

Chosen from our checks alone: the facts named are the ones we confirmed.

- **The most linked to by other sites:** [Disquiet](https://getlaunchlist.com/directories/regional/disquiet). How often other sites link to it: 35 out of 100 (Common Crawl, Oct 2026).

## Our picks

- [Disquiet](https://getlaunchlist.com/directories/regional/disquiet): A Korean-language community where makers share projects, get feedback and find team members. You sign in before you post.
- [V2EX, Share creations](https://getlaunchlist.com/directories/regional/v2ex): A Chinese-language community whose Share creations board is where founders post new work. Its rules ban AI-generated content.

## Before you launch in another language

A regional community reaches people who rarely read the English launch boards, in their own language, with less competition for attention. It fits when your product works for that market: the language, the payment methods and the support hours.

Launch where your first users already are. If that is one country, a local community can matter more than Product Hunt; if it is everywhere, start with [Launch boards](/directories/launch-boards) and add a regional launch once the product is ready in that language.

### How to do it well

- Write the post in the community's language, ideally with help from a native speaker.
- Translate the product's main screens and your landing page before you post.
- Read the community's rules and a week of posts first; norms differ from the English sites.
- Be ready to answer comments in that language for the first day.

### How to launch in another language

A local launch is judged on whether the product feels made for that market.

- Show prices in the local currency and offer the payment methods people there use.
- Use local examples in screenshots, not ones that only make sense in English.
- Say plainly if support is only in English, so nobody is surprised later.

## The list

"Online" means the site answered when we checked but we could not confirm a date on its listings. "Active" means we confirmed a dated listing, shown with its date. "Not known" means we could not confirm it. Price is what getting listed costs; Link is what we read on real listings.

### Every place (2)

| # | Place | What it is | Kind | Status | Price | Link | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | [Disquiet](https://getlaunchlist.com/directories/regional/disquiet) | Disquiet is a social network for IT service makers to share projects. It lists IT service and web product projects and browser-based tools and apps. | Community | Online | Not known | Not known | Oct 26, 2026 |

## Questions founders ask

### Is there a Product Hunt for my country?

Often, yes, though most are communities rather than launch boards. We have 2 so far: Disquiet for Korean makers and V2EX for Chinese-language developers. Many countries also have a local startup media site that takes submissions.

### Should I launch locally first?

Yes, if your first users are in one country. A local launch gets more attention per post, and the feedback comes from the people you are building for. Launch worldwide once the product works well at home.

### Do I need to translate my product before a regional launch?

At least the main screens and the landing page. A post in the local language that leads to an English-only product loses most of its readers.

### Can I post in English on a regional community?

Usually not well. Most regional communities expect posts in their language, and an English post reads as an outsider dropping a link.

### What should I know before posting on V2EX?

Post new work in its Share creations board. Its rules ban AI-generated content, full-text reposts and discussion of pirated software, and replies cannot be edited or deleted after posting.

### What should I know before posting on Disquiet?

You sign in before you post, with Google or an email link. Makers share project updates there, and each product has its own page people can follow, so post updates over time, not one announcement.

### Do regional launches help SEO in that country?

A little. A link from a site in that language helps you show up in local searches, but we have not read the links on these sites. The main value is the local users.

### How do I find a launch community for my country?

Ask founders there where they launched, search for local startup media and maker communities, and look at where local competitors announced their products.

## How we checked

How we checked: from Oct 14 to 30, 2026 our checker opened each regional community's home page, its submit page and up to six real listings, without AI. A price, a review time or a badge rule counts only when the place's own page states it, and a link counts only when we read it on real listings. "Not known" means we could not confirm it, not that it is missing. The full method: https://getlaunchlist.com/directories/how-we-check.
