## About

Softonic is a software and app download site with reviews, news and articles, aimed at people looking for applications for their device and at developers who want to distribute software. The site lists apps and games for Windows, Android, Mac and iPhone, plus web apps, grouped in categories such as Utilities & Tools, Productivity, Multimedia, Security & Privacy and AI. Developers registered in the Publishing Center platform can submit new apps or claim existing listings. The Mac page says Official Distributors get verified distribution, greater exposure and visibility, trusted downloads and centralised app management, and that Softonic reaches over 100 million monthly users. The pages checked do not state a price for submitting, a review time, a link type or a badge requirement. The pricing page returned a page not found error.
