## About

Active Search Results is an independent internet search engine for website owners, promoters and people searching the web. It states that its results come from its own indexes, spiders and crawlers, without outside search engines. Its pages describe ASR Ranking, a page ranking technology protected by patents in the United States, Canada and Australia, which ranks sites higher when owners perform listed activities such as activating membership, adding a backlink to ASR, or submitting a new URL. The About page says owners and promoters have no direct costs to promote their websites. The pages do not describe a launch board, a submission process, paid listing tiers, review times, or advertising prices. Founders should confirm these details on the site before submitting.
